Penang + RIP Yasmin Ahmad

I was at Penang over the weekend. Bought this really awesome maxi dress 
I heart. Also bought a few tops, dresses and stuff.
The reason I went there was to go for St Anne’s Feast at Bukit Mertajam. I haven’t been to BM for a long time and since I was free, I decided to follow me parents there. The mass was open air. My first time in an open air mass with like a million priests (ok, maybe 10 or so). We sat on cardbox boxes on the floor as my parents forgot that we’ll have to bring mats -_-
Going to St Anne’s feast brings back memories of my childhood and how we used to go there like almost every year. Lighting candles, procession and making sure we don’t burn people’s hair. lols. happened when I was there. Someone burnt someone’s hair. poor thing. Usually we don’t usually experience mass at all as the old church was too stuffy, we always came late -_-. But this time, we came super early as we thought mass was at 6. ended up to be at 830! super late and tired of standing already since 5pm.
Also found out that Yasmin Ahmad passed away over the weekend 
RIP Yasmin. I will always miss your movies and commercials…May you inspire more movie makers in Malaysia to be like you and continue your work.
Why is everyone dying? This is just one sad time of the year.
